Green finds for St. Patties Day

I love a good excuse to get dressed up, so obviously I am giddy for St. Patrick's Day to arrive! Lately I have seen a lot of the mint color in fashion. In fact, last weekend I just tried on a pair of mint jeans. What fun. I will be excited to see green and mint being worn this St. Patrick's Day, especially since green is my favorite color. Here are some fun items that I have picked out to help you figure out what to wear for the impending shamrock day, March 17. Enjoy!

My Christmas List

Everyone else seems to be posting their Christmas lists, so I thought I would follow suit. This is a mishmash of what I would be more than overjoyed to see on Christmas morning. Of course, I can also appreciate non-consumerism and just enjoying the love and joy of family during the holidays. I am always torn at this time of year to spend or not to spend. I don't need any of the things above, but I would love to have them all. Just like the rest of my family, we are quite well off the way we are. This Christmas I can see consumerism having one benefit though. If we were all to buy American made goods it would give a little boost to our economy. So here's to buying local American made gifts this holiday! (Now I need to re-do my wish list.)

Ankle Boots

I find that I go through shoe obsessions. I'm sure this happens to most women. When it happens to me though, I find myself walking the streets with my face turned down just to find the current shoe that I am obsessing over. Then when I find it, a feeling of pride and excitement comes over me...unless of course the girl is wearing the shoe all wrong. And by 'all wrong' I mean my own meekly personal opinion of what does not look good. Like I said, it's an obsession phase. It happens with clothes too. So if you can't tell, my current obsession is the ankle boot. I think they are so cute and streamlined-looking on the foot. I just want to clap my hands and jump up and down when I see these shoes. I have yet to decide on which lucky ankle boots will go home with me...I'm thinking the teal one's above may be the winners.
